Our team makes safety our primary concern, to make you the best pilot that you can be as well as the safest pilot that you can be. We do that by always imphasizing the three most important aspects of a pilot:

  1. Fly the airplane,
  2. navigate the airplane,
  3. and finally, comunicate to others.


Below are the different types of training that we offer:

 

 

Metro Tour

This is our Introductory Offer. We teach you the fundamentals of flying while we fly over the Saint Louis metropolitan area or anywhere else that you may want to go.

This is your opportunity to explore all of the beauty and value that flying an airplane can give you.


In this lesson we will cover:

  • By visual reference; straight and level, turns left and right, as well as climbing and descending.
  • We will also explain the instrumentation inside the cockpit, as well as the aircraft itself.

Note: If all you want to do is enjoy the scenery, then that is your choice.

Recreational Pilot's Licence

Will Require:

  1. NO Airman Medical exam if the pilot has a U.S. drivers license
  2. At least 17 years old
  3. 20 hours of dual instruction with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).
  4. Pass a Recreational Pilot's Licence written test.
  5. An endorsement from a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).

Priviledges:

  1. Fly whenever you like by your self and/or with one passenger.
  2. Your single engine airplane cannot have an engine greater than 180 horse power.
  3. During your flight you will maintain at least 3 miles visibility and be able to see the ground.
  4. Also, during your flight you will abide by all Federal Aviation Administration regulations and limitations.

Private Pilot's Licence

Will Require:

  1. At least a 3rd Class Airman Medical exam.
  2. A minimum of 20 hours of dual instruction with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).
  3. A minimum of 20 hours of solo flight by yourself. (note: total flight hours = 40)
  4. Pass a Private Pilot's Licence written test.
  5. Take a Check ride with an FAA Designee.

Priviledges:

  1. Fly whenever you like by your self and/or as many passengers that your airplane will legally hold.
  2. No limitation regarding to the size or weight, other than airplanes heavier than 12,000 lbs. will require a type rating.
  3. During your flight you will maintain at least 3 miles visibility and the cloud layer no lower than 1,000 feet.
  4. Your airplane must be a single engine airplane unless you have a Multi-Engine rating.
  5. Also, during your flight you will abide by all Federal Aviation Administration regulations and limitations.

 

Instrument rating

Will Require:

  1. At least a Private Pilot's Licence
  2. A minimum of 40 hours of dual instruction with a Certified Flight Instructor Instrument Airplane (CFI IA).
  3. Pass a Instrument rating written test.
  4. Take a Check ride with an FAA Designee.

Priviledges:

  1. Allows you to fly through and above the clouds.
  2. Also, during your flight you will abide by all Federal Aviation Administration regulations and limitations.

 

Commercial Pilot's Licence

Will Require:

  1. Be at least 18 years old and hold at least a Private Pilot's Licence.
  2. A minimum of 250 hours as pilot in command.
  3. A complex airplane endorsement with a minimum of 10 hours with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).
  4. A minimum of 20 hours dual instruction with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI).
  5. Pass a Commercial Pilot's Licence written test.
  6. Take a Check ride with an FAA Designee.

Priviledges:

  1. Allows you to fly for hire.
  2. Also, during your flight you will abide by all Federal Aviation Administration regulations and limitations.

 

Airline Transport Pilot's Certificate

Will Require:

  1. Be at least 21 years old and hold at least a Commercial Pilot's Licence.
  2. A minimum of 1,500 hours as pilot in command and/or second in command when authorized.
  3. Pass a Airline Transport Pilot's Licence written test.
  4. Take a Check ride with an FAA Designee.

Priviledges:

  1. Allows you to exercise your Commercial and Instrument in an Airline type of environment
  2. Allows you to teach other Airline Transport Pilot applicants.
  3. Also, during your flight you will abide by all Federal Aviation Administration regulations and limitations.

 

Multi-Engine rating

Will Require:

  1. At least a Private Pilot's Licence
  2. Take a Check ride with an FAA Designee.

Priviledges:

  1. Allows you to exercise your Pilot's Certificate in a multi-engine airplane.
  2. Also, during your flight you will abide by all Federal Aviation Administration regulations and limitations.

 

Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)

Will Require:

  1. At least a Commercial Pilot's Licence
  2. Pass a Certified Flight Instructor's written test.
  3. Take a Check ride with an FAA Designee.

Priviledges:

  1. Allows you to exercise your Commercial Pilot's Certificate while teaching others.
  2. Also, during your flight you will abide by all Federal Aviation Administration regulations and limitations.

 

Flight Instructor Instrument Airplane (CFI IA)

Will Require:

  1. Certified Flight Instructor certificate
  2. Pass a Certified Flight Instructor's written test.
  3. Take a Check ride with an FAA Designee.

Priviledges:

  1. Allows you to exercise your Commercial Pilot's Certificate while teaching others instrument flying.
  2. Also, during your flight you will abide by all Federal Aviation Administration regulations and limitations.
